Lambs carried Close

I looked for constellation Orion and saw him through these beautiful long finger-like clouds lit up by the full moon. It was like God's hand was holding the heavens. But maybe the clouds were more like palm branches , like we are all in this one huge beautiful succah.

God is so amazingly holy and awesome. He so longs for us to constantly abide in Him.

Isaiah 40:1 Comfort, comfort my people, says your God....
11 He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; He gently leads those that have young.
12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens?

Can you picture that? This Shepherd, whose hand spans the Universe, holds us like little lambs 'close to His heart!'

Help me loving Shepherd to abide in Your Presence during this Feast...to follow You like a little lamb, to accept the comfort You continually offer to me and to share that comfort with your people.
