fur lined nests

Bunny is shedding again. She has a train of white, furry, feathers following her frisky feet.
Oh those tufts of fluff are so lovely soft. I put them up in a basket by my window...Why?

Because His timing is Perfect...

Just at the time bunnies send fluffy clouds floating into the wind, birds are snatching them up as a lining for their nests. It's fun to watch little Santa bearded birdies winging from my basket.

Oh His timing is Perfect...

I once really disliked Ecc. 3... so decided so determined... maybe even predetermined...but now I find contentment and peace in these words.

Ecc. 3:1 Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses. 2 He sets the time for birth and the time for death, the time for planting and the time for pulling up, 3 the time for killing and the time for healing, the time for tearing down and the time for building. 4 He sets the time for sorrow and the time for joy, the time for mourning and the time for dancing, 5 the time for making love and the time for not making love, the time for kissing and the time for not kissing. 6 He sets the time for finding and the time for losing, the time for saving and the time for throwing away, 7 the time for tearing and the time for mending, the time for silence and the time for talk. 8 He sets the time for love and the time for hate, the time for war and the time for peace.

Bunnies shed and birds line their nests and I observe and find pleasure in discovering yet another perfectly timed Everything in our big beautiful fur-lined nest.

Richard Feynman points this out in his book, The Pleasure of Finding Things Out. He remembers a lesson from his father, "We have been looking at how all these things grow; but for each bit of growth, there must be the same amount of decay, otherwise the materials would be consumed forever..."
What Feynman learned from these walks in the woods with his father was to look, to watch, and if you paid attention, you got a great reward from it, the reward of finding something out.

So notice what happens to the little tufts of fluff floating around you and you just may discover that His timing is Perfect...and see some happy birds and find contentment in trusting that Everything is Allright and time is unfolding in His Perfection.

God's Perfect Timing, I have been praying for this in my life. I have been praying for patience, that God would work out His plan for my life in His Perfect Timing. Sometimes it is hard to wait for it though, but if bunnies and birds can wait for it, in the strength of the Lord, so can I.

Thanks Cindy!
